Who Are Katie & Ethel?

Katie is the founder and formulator behind Katie & Ethel, a farm-based apothecary in upstate New York. Living with significant vision loss, she designs simple, practical topical products meant to be easy to use, effective, and trustworthy—things that earn a permanent place in the medicine cabinet.

Ethel is Katie’s guide dog and constant farm companion. Equal parts quality control, morale booster, and reminder to slow down, Ethel represents the heart of the brand: care, consistency, and showing up every day.
